![]() ![]() ![]() In the (semi) free market no company or person is entitled to make money off of a good or service, nor is anyone 'entitled' to succeed with their product or service. The word "entitled" is so overplayed.Įntitled is a fantastic description of someone complaining about 'free stuff' they were given- But refusing to purchase something because you feel the price is too high for what is being offered is not entitled. If you think something isnt worth it and dont buy it as a result, how is that entitled? Especially when you are directly telling the company why you are not buying and what they could do to get your money.Įntitled is throwing a product out there and expecting people to just buy it. They are too quick to jump onto the discussion forums like juvinile children stamping their feet. Only entitled dimwits come in here expecting to have fancy graphics shoved in their faces. Why they automatically assume enhanced to mean enhanced graphics? Is a 64bit binary not enhanced enough? Are new bug fixes and proper video card compatibility not enhanced enough? Is the fact they fixed multiplayer not enhanced enough? Not to mention this is early access and a wealth of enhancements are yet to come. We cannot revise the existing content due to the sheer mass of content and the risk of bug introduction. New content is where all our work will come together to show the future we anticipate for NWN. Integrate the new improvements slowly and carefully Have heavy features developed in a branch, off to the side, allowing the main game experience to be reliable even while major new features are in development. Sometimes this may require some iteration to do properly. We'll open those systems and add new functionality on top of what already exists. We won't go in and revise systems just to make changes. If it worked in 1.69, it should work in 1.7XX We want the game to be able to work with all the old modules. Step forward slowly and try to keep it stable Don't change, unhardcode, open up for modding/extension and add new functionalityģ. We have four guiding principles with regards to NWN:Ģ.
